Pictures from Glasgow and Edinburgh trip.I like to use a digital camera now. There is less waiting time and the images are less random. But I have used a film camera for so long that it has enabled me to capture photos in a moment, so that I can think about which pictures I want to get before I start shooting. This is a little bit like Henri Cartier-Bresson's concept of "the decisive moment". In Glasgow, my tutor also talked to me about how to take photos of strangers. Sometimes 'the moment' is already lost if you have to stop and ask their permission first, but if you don't ask, you may have a problem about infringing on their human rights.
